I am still sick. All kinds of symptoms seem to APPEAR. god damn it. (sry abt the vulgarities here... tend to lose my temper whenever im sick) but most luckily.. it wasnt the scary dreadful H1N1

since it located @ tuas.. near my hse... i agree to go down for once to shut that guy up. >.<

my heart still feels towards the thursday job. the strong feeling is like i will reject any upcoming offers before that outcome.

been popping medicines every 4 hrs and trying to get myself to sleep ard 11pm these 2 days. ughs~! its bugging me if im still sick when thu comes... will i perform like shit on that day? or will i sneeze thru-the interview... will those americans thought i contacted H1N1?

ughss... i heard i will be expecting many candidates... meaning to say, slim chance!

returned from interview @ SMU. Not a academic position. and i am not gg to teach there..

rest assured the kids (younger than me i suppose?!) wont be spoilt rotten by me. LOL

Lasted for 1hr 45min cz i drop a gas bomb right there!!! hahaa.. kidding!!

to be precise, its actually an 1hr ist round interview followed by an 45min second round of interview. went in @ 10.05am, "crawl" out at 11.45am?!

Firstly, it was frightening for me. i was wriggling on the chair and prepared to be usher out when the manager signalled me to sit down and tell me shes going to get her boss to see me. While im left alone in the meeting room for 5minutes. The ist thing i took out .... out of nowhere is my mini mirror. Checking whether my hair, face, makeup isit in place?!?!

ok. i thought. only boss and manager. so i will be expecting 2 person joining me in that room. -.- 2nd terrorist thing was it was not just 2 person.... but i saw triples.. i mean 4 pple coming in. I was like .. O great.. i was thinking to myself.. who is who hurrhh??

ok.. ended up while i am trying my best to maintain my "cool" ... there ur like 4 pairs of female eye looking intensely at my "one-copy" resume and my face. while im trying my best to be cool abt it, i realised its hard for me to give direct eye contact to everyone manz.. hahaa.. is like.. when i looked into person1 eye, will person2,3 and 4 thinks i ignored them?!

but eventually, i resorted to turn my chair towards the boss direction and face her. Since shes the boss. i shall give her my maximum respect. LOLx (except the bowing part.. this is SG, not Korea)

they ur a whole lot of friendly pple.. kinda look forward to work with em.. cz our topics even revolve salary, bonus, medical, gym, pool benefits, basically they ur telling me all the employee perks i will be entitled to if i get the job... sounds great isnt it? there ur one type of perks that involve "guys" .. i was like wth.. haha uh hmmm

of cz, my felling confidence was boosted and it seemed like there ur a chance for me. but i was honest enough to let them know i had another interview on next mon and thu (amusement, tourism industry)... she was like even encouraging me to make comparison b/w the jobs before i make a decision next week. what a nice lady!

tho i was really really damn excited abt the one on next thu (i want this job!), at the same time, i really hope i cld secure today SMU position as well ("greedy mindset").

I dreadfully want to get my butt out of the house and be both financially N emotionally indep (One of My Goals). Better still, grab any single chance to work abroad as far as possible!!! (thats my dream).

tday went for UOB GIP interview @ UOB Plaza
There is suppose another one on coming friday but i decided to cancel it. Not attractive =)

My ego ur acting up... when i heard from cousin my whole interview process ur somehow channelling to my aunts and uncles side. It's VERY horrifying TO ME. I want pple to hear my success, share with it and celebrate with tears of joy. NOT pitying or worst still, sarcastic. theres this one guy (nt related to me at all) whom i seriously think is another busybody w/o any basic human common sense.

The UOB interview doesnt and wasn't horrifying at all (wasting my time), instead it is v boring & normal. Compare to my secretary position (Tue), that interviewer ... on the other hand bomb me head to toes for one stright clock hour in the 'orange light' meeting room & its really an admirable and rewarding experience for both of us. She even walked me all the way to outside and really appreciate her hospitality.

the feeling is good. =) Obviously those who are really 'interested' in us will try their best to 'bomb' us tough qns to gauge whether ur we suitable for that particular job position.

tday went dw for a interview @ chinatown ~ club street - financial-service co. Culture quite gd, cz i was told the big boss ur a Caucasian.. meaning to say.. theres freedom.. little control and very flexible. Job scope is a lot based on data research and admin/financial office job that require no travel at all. Guest little so didnt need to entertain a lot. I like. Haha.. Liasing with the sister company 90% is through email. eAsy.

A pity salary wasnt disclosed and i had to wait for the Caucasian boss to come back from his family holiday. Next week shld be able to get the reply. Honestly, this job sounds pretty good to me... except the salary unknown~ if its within my range, cfm will took it as my starting perm career in the financial service industry. Job-hopping to other financial industries next time wld be easier too.

while im on my way to there, gt a surprise call frm yellow page and was told they ur gg to offer me the job position i went last week. Adver sales exe. Jobs that i dun wan really call upon me. I guess they really compromise me. Offer salary was 1.9k exclude transport allowance and upon completion of the 6mth training, i was promised an additional 1k on top of this. So i was like. ZNG! totally spoilt my mood when i am on my way to a interview.

I did not gave a confirmation reply and requested for more time and the HR manager seems pretty shocked i din agree on the spot. (do i really look like i can do sales?!?!) Initially i requested for 2 days to consider but she say she could only gave me till tml. which is like 1 pathetic day to make my final decison.. before i hung up on her, she was telling me to give some serious thoughts into this.

just as i m discussin e matter wib sh online when i gt back, rec another surprise call from UOB. my heart basically fly.. and i knew it! my passion is working in banks? >.<

but then, i had a feel that the email wasnt meant for me but another candidate. If not for my name was there, i think i wld call bk to clarify lol.. cz the email reads like this.....

i cant even rem i apply to them, let along having a interview with them before. Most ridiculous part was the economist role?! ur they assigning me a role that i dont even know whats that? wow.. basically thats shooting me in the head before i even get to walk into the room, knowing what is gg on. But jus go lo, jus as wad my peeps said. Jus see whats in for me. =.=

my current situation ur pretty "big-head" There wasnt a clear direction where i gonna go and seriously i hope... rejecting yellow page offer wont be a regretful matter (e pay seems attractive). im basically risking my personal available funds if i cldnt get any jobs before covocation.

The top ur really not my style!! nt the colour i alwys wear and definitely not the type of clothes i alwys wore!! but due to the major support frm both my dear bebe and sh, looks pretty unique. Asked my mum and sis for comments and they ur saying quite alright.... (ok! at least i kw i dont know weird!!!)

tday went for an interview @ Yellow Page. *PLS DUN CALL ME 10X* Perhaps my interview skills had gone up to a level. -.-| Its quite obvious i did not like the job, yet the interviewer was asking me how much i want... and they will try to compromise. I was like *OH noo*

At ist, i thought it was a 50% sales 50% office. But then was told it was a 150% everyday outdoor job with 90% sales.lucky thing was that the salary wasn't commission-based and there ur transport allowance! (don't wow too early)

I dont really think im up to the job scope (challenge) tho sincerely think i had misled them believing im up to it. Believe it or nt, all i had said during the interview ur a pack of lies. and i realise being honest during interviews doesnt really do me good (previously many times). tday, my pack of lies actually manage to convince em im the right person (except the part where i express my displeasure over their offer salary package)

after i got hm, o well... my mum was saying "hows ur 1Xth interviews?" As usual, i wld said, "only can wait for calls~" *JIA U JIA U* Ughs~!

Surprisingly, i gt several calls on and off while i am poo-ing and eating my "tou hua" lunch. luckily, i manage to pick up one call for "Account Management Coordinator" position interview next mon, from a financial insitution.

Wet Day

was out yestd wib sh and ct at city hall/marina. Budget yet very satisfying! We had a gr8et gr8et movie at marina (3 of us) for just $2.50 each =D Followed up with 3 of us whining @ Macs having MacFrappes @ $1.00each. Wahooo~! the day ended with sh buying a $6X skirt @ Topshop. Actually, i errr intended to buy some hat.. however.. seems like the topshop @ marina had a pretty bad showcase of stuffs, as compare to other biGGer outlets.

Will be gg out tml wib bebe and sh~! Our in-prompt interviews cum lunch outing. =D

Today, I went to my fav Watson store like I'd done @ JP and brought some skincare products

Let's face it, a job interview is all about personal branding and selling yourself. As the person going for the interview you have to be cool, calm and collected all the while promoting and selling yourself without seeming full of yourself (and keeping the sweat and stress away).

My job interview with SSTA (scroll for earlier post) president/founder has to be the the most awkward, uncomfortable interview I've ever experience.

You put yourself out there and hope that a company will like your resume enough to actually want to meet you. Once they do meet you, you have about an hour to convince them that you're an amazing, spectacular, wonderful person whom they want to work for them. And then ultimately, they often make the actual hiring decision based on something completely trivial.

I had to sit in the lobby for what felt like hours because they had inexplicably scheduled my interview for the same time as another candidate.

When I finally was taken in for the interview, it started out pretty normal.

however i felt like a microwave popcorn in the small quiet room with the president and another lady.

Its was hilariously awkward when my voice went off-pitch without warning and i was helplessly trying to clear my throat in front of em~ in fact, i manage a small laugh to myself but it seems like no-one is laughing. *awkward *

and when i was asked whether can i work independently. i went "YES" and my sudden enthusiasm seem to shock em ZNG!

On some level, i think its due to the night before (Friday), out of kepo~ness, i went to check on the guy (my interviewer) and their webby to found that hes the president of the co. My ist exp with the CEO. *Triple Lolx* how does he look?

Above-average young chap with a well-shaved face + a bit of humor?

He told me a lot a lot on the ongoing project (those aerospace and airshows) and what is the job scope like. somehow the job scope seemed to be popping out 10XX more detailed, challenging and scarier compare to the original copy i printed from their website. (at that point of time, i do felt i was conned!)

the topic went on and to a point, he was telling and assuring me hes nt gg to send me to the moon (i must have looked like some nerve-wreaking kid), and he started laughing.

At first, it was just a reasonable amount of laughter, but it quickly progressed into more laughter when he talk more abt those meeting and travelling whenever its needed for overseas project.

I didn't want to seem like I thought he was weird, or im weird, so I was kind of laughing along, while scanning the room to make sure the lady is also laughing. But shes not. instead, shes like staring at me

So I'm kind of chuckling along while thinking to myself... how weird~ oh gosh!

Finally, when he stopped laughing and proceeded with the interview, and then he told me that everyone in their office was really close and got along really well, and so they wanted to make sure that the new person fits in perfectly... like a glue. And i was like thinking "oH a glue?!"

my dad ur probing me how many % do i feel getting the job. I was like 50-50%. Unless they did not mind my awkwardness and occasional-laughter... i "might" get the job with the lady "stares".

nw watching ep 25 of WGM HJL/HB..

i think sooner or later i will die or even drown in laughter.

I was watching WGM hyun joong and HwangBo (we got married) when i realised my wrinkles ur all coming out.

*It must be i was luffing real hard*. its damn hilarious and raw. just like what XT says. this variety show thingy reallie bring out all the diff personalities of hj. hahahaa~ every episode ur duper funny. hes sucha cutie.

tday just gt back from the interview i've mentioned -not-reallie-anticipating- interview. hahaha but y do i felt this is one of the highest possibility position?! lolx

(i dont even know i applied to this co before.. after checking all my trash mail, its still the same ans)

*letting out a sigh* i have been drawing out maps for the past few days.

after looking at my "hectic" schedule. Its ish indeed "a torture in disguise".

Certainly, i thanks e govt for the $200 needy fund. thats was cool!

my mum ur even cooler. She was thinking ordering pizzahut. and one minute she saw the $200 bucks.

everyday talking on *random* stuffs and everyday gg *random* places.

sometimes i really feel if only singapore can be smaller (in terms of geo size and roads) =D

, i wldn't had to continuously drawing maps days after days~

if only the singapore maps can be brought cheaply or even FOC.

i wld have circle out every strange locations i hve been and boost ard. *thats pretty cool*

my dad had been immune to all my interviews. Complete immune. 101%. To a extent, all the interviews i've gone had oreadi immune him enough to stop nagging me on finding jobs (am i doing a great job here?! =D)

Boys Over Flowers F4 Kim Joon and Kim Hyun Joong meet again.

They met to shoot the MV ‘Jun, Be Ok!’ solo song from Kim Joon off T-Max upcoming album. SS501 Kim Hyun Joong will star in the MV as well.

The MV was shot not long ago in a filming set in GyeongGiDo and Kim Hyun Joong had came to help out for Kim Joon’s first solo songs.

A staff said, “The 2 had continued their friendship from F4 in Boys Over Flowers. Especially since Kim Joon and Kim Hyun Joong are both in idol groups, they have many chances to work together through music. Kim Joon has also received many advices when preparing his first solo song.”

Kim Joon will also meet fans through his masculine features in the MV ‘Joon, Be OK!’.

Meanwhile, the upcoming album by T-Max will released on 9th July.

Sidetrack A~bit

Tml i will be gg for a interview near Pandan Crescent. ard west coast. a finance n admin position. nth raving. however i wasn't reallie very anticipated for this as i was told the actual ist round of interview had actually started on monday, and most prob will last till end of this week. I was like "omg... guess how many pple are there altogether? 10-20?! whos know?!" I had counted the cash in my purse and its a relief i cld still afford the bus trip. West Coast West Coast. Love that place. My 2 aunts live there and there ur once (quite far back) doing proj with (can't rem) & i ended up having a decent meal w/o paying. (thinking) *Shld i do that tml?* =D or i cld pack some clothes along to run ard pandan reservoir.

My sis ur telling me. She used to weight 6Xkg in sec1, 6Xkg in sec 2, same wgt in sec 3. Now, she weight exactly the same when shes in sec1. I was telling her "yah! nth to sad abt. u ur nt fat. fan Xing~"

In actual fact, actually i longed longed to tell her "... u alwys claimed u ur still at puberty stage... and then alwys eat like gorilla. if ur weight nv increase, tml i will buy a new weighing machine for you"
